Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter Ajinkya Rahane came up with a heroic effort on the field during the ongoing game against Gujarat Titans (GT). The 7th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is taking place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The game between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans hangs in balance so far as both teams are putting in every effort to win the game. The home team with the support of fans is making sure that they keep taking wickets at regular intervals and entertain the crowd.
David Miller and Sai Sudharsan on the other hand for GT were making sure that they the game deep and kept the side in the hunt. With the way they were batting, it needed something special to break their partnership and Ajinkya Rahane did exactly that in the field to remove the South African batter.
During the 5th ball of the 12th over, Tushar Deshpande bowled a full delivery on leg stump. David Miller flicked the ball flat in the air towards the deep mid-wicket. Ajinkya Rahane, who was stationed there, came in running put in a sensational dive, and pouched the catch.

David Miller looked in good touch in the game as he played some great shots and was looking all set for a big knock. He scored 21 runs off 16 balls. The southpaw had a strike rate of over 131 and also scored three boundaries in his innings.
David Miller’s wicket in the game put Gujarat Titans on the back foot in the ongoing game against Chennai Super Kings. The home team made run-scoring hard for the Shubman Gill-led side and are now looking favourites to win the game.
After David Miller got out, Gujarat Titans also lost Sai Sudharsan as well. The left-hander was removed by Matheesha Pathirana as he tried to hit him for a six and was caught in the deep by Sameer Rizvi. The batter scored 37 runs off 31 balls.
With his wicket, Chennai Super Kings reduced Gujarat Titans to 114/5. The batting side would be hoping Rahul Tewatia brings his best with the bat and takes them home along with Rashid Khan, who of late has made handy contributions with the bat in T20s.

While he made his presence felt in the field, Ajinkya Rahane couldn’t set the stage on fire with the bat in the ongoing game against Gujarat Titans. The batter, who of late has been in torrid form, is yet to make a big impact with the bat in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
In the ongoing game, Ajinkya Rahane scored just 12 runs. The batter faced 12 balls and failed to hit a single boundary. Be failed to make use of good batting conditions and now would be hoping to turn things around in the next games of the season for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
