DC vs SRH: Watch - Jake Fraser-McGurk demolishes Washington Sundar with 30-run over in Delhi

Delhi Capitals (DC) batter Jake Fraser-McGurk went berserk with the bat in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The 35th game of the tournament between the teams is taking place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. 

Jake Fraser-McGurk, who came to bat at No.3, made sure that he set the stage on fire in the ongoing game against SRH. The young Australian batter went from the word go and made sure that he made up for the loss of two wickets for his team at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. 

Jake Fraser-McGurk showed no mercy on Washington Sundar as over of off-spinner allowed him to set the temp and get into his innings. The Australia batter made the SRH spinner dance to his tune as he hit the bowler for 30 runs in the over to keep his team in the hunt while chasing 267. 

Jake Fraser-McGurk started the over with the four over wide mid-off and then made sure that he followed it with another boundary on the next ball. He chopped away the short ball straight and wide of mid-off to bag back-to-back boundaries. 

On the third ball, Jake Fraser-McGurk hammered Washington Sundar for a big six.  The batter got under the ball and lofted it over the cover region to hit it for a maximum over long-on at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. 

Jake Fraser-McGurk drilled the fourth ball of the over for a boundary. The spinner dragged the length back to which the batter smashed it through cover. The Australia batter then made sure that he finished the over on high at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. 

Jake Fraser-McGurk hit two back-to-back sixes on the last two balls of the over against Washington Sundar. On the 5th ball, he backed away and flat-batted the shot over mid-off as the ball sailed over the ropes for a maximum. 

Jake Fraser-McGurk on the last ball clobbered the short ball by Washington Sundar over the over mid-off. It went flat and hard, and over the ropes as the the batter slammed 30 runs in the over against Washington Sundar at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Jake Fraser-McGurk completes his second fifty in the IPL 

After hitting Washington Sundar for a big six, Jake Fraser-McGurk made sure that he did more carnage with the bat and went on to his second half-century in the Indian Premier League. He reached the milestone in just 15 balls and got there with a six. 

However, he couldn't go big as Mayank Markande ended his stay at the crease. The batter tried to hit another six but he got a top-edge and was caught by the keeper Heinrich Klaasen. He ended with the innings of 65 runs in just 18 balls and also hit 5 fourd and 7 sixes in his innings. He made sure that his team gets off the brutal start in the chase.
